About The Position
San Diego Harley-Davidson is seeking a Driver/Porter to join their team. This role involves inspecting and maneuvering vehicles and trailers, ensuring safety and detail orientation. The ideal candidate will have experience with motorcycles and a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement.
Requirements
- Ability to get along with a broad customer base.
- Experience riding and handling motorcycles of all sizes.
- Current, valid Driver's License with a Motorcycle Endorsement or willing to obtain a motorcycle endorsement.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Detail experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Inspect a truck and 20ft trailer on a weekly basis to ensure that tires, lighting and fluids are maintained.
- Back and maneuver a 20ft trailer safely and accurately in heavy traffic.
- Lift 50 pounds of material.
- Safely balance and push a 600 to 800 lb. motorcycle.
