About The Position

This is a full-time, entry-level position responsible for delivering parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors, as well as picking up parts and equipment. The role also involves basic truck maintenance and assisting in maintaining the professional appearance of the parts department.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Ability to use computer and calculator.
Comfortable lifting to 50 lbs and lifting frequently.
Professional personal appearance.

Experience in automotive repair or parts sales preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors.
Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors, coordinating with the Dispatcher, Parts Manager, and Parts Counter people.
Verify that invoices match purchase orders for each pick-up.
Check payments received against invoices for each delivery.
Handle basic truck maintenance, including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and ensuring required inspections are performed.
Complete a log at the time of delivery and request the recipient’s signature.
Unload the truck each night.
Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
Maintain professional appearance.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
