About The Position

The Driver non-CDL at Heartland Coca-Cola is responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered product to assigned accounts on specified routes. This role involves merchandising, displaying, and rotating products according to company standards, as well as picking up company property and collecting returns. The driver will utilize computer technology to create customer invoices, collect payments, and settle accounts daily. Excellent customer service is expected, including communication, problem resolution, and follow-up. The position also requires ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies, including DOT regulations, and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of work experience.
Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Driver’s license required by state: Missouri: must have a Class E license; Illinois: must have a Class C license or must obtain a Class C permit during pre-employment and before starting work; Iowa and Kansas: must have a Class C license.
Clean driving record within MVR guidelines.
Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Local delivery experience preferred.
Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
