About The Position

The Driver non-CDL at Heartland Coca-Cola is responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered product to assigned accounts on specified routes. This role involves delivering products to customers, merchandising and rotating products according to company standards, and picking up company property and collecting returns. The driver will utilize computer technology for creating customer invoices, collecting money due, and settling all customer accounts daily. Providing excellent customer service, meeting customer expectations through communication and problem resolution, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies (including DOT regulations), and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction are also key aspects of the position. Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company produces, sells, and distributes Coca-Cola and Monster Beverages across Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois, valuing its people, customers, and community.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of work experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Driver’s license required by state: Missouri: must have a Class E license; Illinois: must have a Class C license or must obtain a Class C permit during pre-employment and before starting work; Iowa and Kansas: must have a Class C license
  • Clean driving record within MVR guidelines.
  • Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Local delivery experience preferred.
  • Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities
