About The Position

Mead Lumber Company is seeking a Driver Non CDL to join their team. The primary responsibility is to drive company vehicles to deliver merchandise to customer jobsites and physically unload the materials to the customer's satisfaction. This role also involves helping load and unload trucks, putting merchandise away, and cleaning up the yard. Mead Lumber is a leading provider of products for professional contractors, builders, and remodelers, with over 50 operating locations across nine Midwestern states. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Be self-motivated and productive.
• Physical strength to lift and carry 75 pounds consistently.

Responsibilities

• Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
• Load trucks according to the list of materials on the sales invoice.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer’s satisfaction and on a timely basis.
• Maintain inspection of each vehicle you drive for safe driving.
• Accurately record all merchandise returns on a credit memo.
• Listen and work with customers to solve customer needs.
