Driver - NON-CDL
About The Position
Tropic Supply, Florida’s largest independent, family-owned HVAC distributor, is hiring an experienced Non-CDL Delivery Driver for local, same-day routes. This position offers local routes with no overnights or long-haul, ensuring you are home every day. The driver will operate Tropic Supply box trucks and vans for local deliveries, complete daily pre/post-trip inspections, and verify/inspect materials before delivery. Responsibilities also include safely loading/unloading using liftgates, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment, delivering orders to customers with professionalism and accuracy, and assisting with warehouse tasks such as receiving, stocking, and staging orders.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license + current medical certificate
- 6+ months of verifiable CMV / box-truck driving experience
- 1+ year of warehouse experience
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs
- Experience with pallet jacks/forklifts
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English for safety and delivery paperwork
Responsibilities
- Operate Tropic Supply box trucks and vans for local deliveries
