About The Position

Description Position Title: Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver Location: Primary- Southeast Indiana Responsibilities include: • Drives PME vehicle to transport eligible Medicaid/Medicare members to and from medical appointments. • Perform assigned daily transports in safe and timely manner • Complete all paperwork required for transportation services • Complete a daily inspection of assigned vehicle before start of the day. • Driver must be courteous, patient, and professional at all times, as well as neat and clean in appearance per the driver handbook. Position is driving a company car that will be kept at employee's house for individuals' appointments and comes with a gas card. Work hours: Monday – Friday, Hours will vary according to assigned route (could start as early as 4:30am) Pay: $15.00 Benefits: • Position comes with option to take health, dental, vision insurance • PTO after 90 days • 8 Paid Holidays

Requirements

Ability to work independently
Show up to work in a timely manner
Take work orders from supervisor for client trip
Drive clients to their destinations on time
Assist clients as they get into and out of the vehicle
Report back to the supervisor when clients have been dropped off at their destination
Report traffic delays en route back to supervisor
Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year company driver or transportation preferred
