About The Position

Assists in the delivery and merchandising of advanced sold products of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts and for rotating and stocking product. The Chesterman Company is an independent Coca-Cola Bottler with its corporate office in Sioux City, Iowa, serving the Midwest since 1872 with 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Requirements

• High-School Diploma/GED
• No experience necessary – on the job training is performed
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with DOT regulations; must be able to meet all DOT physical requirements
• Driving record within MVR policy guidelines
• Communication Skills

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisor

Responsibilities

• Check accuracy and stability of the load
• Deliver products to customer
• Merchandise, display and rotate products according to company standards
• Invoice and collect monies due
• Pick up company property
• Secure company assets
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Settle all accounts daily
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
