About The Position

This position is responsible for material handling in a warehouse environment and transporting, delivering, and picking up material safely and efficiently. The role involves driving delivery vehicles, preparing materials for shipment, receiving and stocking inbound shipments, pulling outbound shipments, and loading materials onto trucks. The employee will also be responsible for safely securing materials for transport and representing the company's core values when interacting with external customers and vendors. Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager. This position interacts with the shipping supervisor, warehouse supervisor, plant personnel, and external and internal customers on a daily basis.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CDL required

Nice To Haves

• Prior delivery experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Driving delivery vehicles including but limited to a 26-foot Box Truck or pickup truck
• Crating, wrapping, banding material in preparation for shipment
• Receiving and stocking inbound shipments
• Pulling outbound shipment for transport or use in company facilities
• Loading materials on trucks
• Safely securing material to be transported
• Represent Armor’s core values while interacting with external customers and vendors
• Additional tasks as assigned by manager
