Fuel your passion As a Driver Manager, you will lead field resource deployment, driver operations, and fleet activities across the South Texas region. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing personnel, fleet, and warehouse activities to meet business and customer objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate strong experience in resource management and operational planning.
  • Have proven experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid work authorization in the country of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading safety as the highest priority by instilling a strong safety culture across all employees.
  • Conducting safety observations, leading safety meetings, and ensuring active participation in safety programs.
  • Planning and executing field resource deployment to meet customer requirements and business metrics.
  • Monitoring and managing direct report performance, supporting career development and growth.
  • Coordinating employee training programs and ensuring competency through systems such as Kahuna and LMS.
  • Developing short- and long-term resource plans based on business forecasts and operational commitments.
  • Supporting recruitment, driver assessments, and mentoring programs for workforce development.
  • Developing and executing operational plans for departmental activities.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in products, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrating strong understanding of treater, delivery, and warehouse operations.
  • Contributing to the broader South Texas business unit strategy in collaboration with leadership.
  • Managing day-to-day driver activities and performance.
  • Monitoring and optimizing routes for treater and delivery drivers using tools such as Samsara, Omnitracs, and fleet management systems (Wheels/Element).
  • Overseeing inventory and warehouse management, including internal and external audits.
  • Partnering with Account Managers, Field Managers, and customers to ensure service excellence.
  • Managing fleet repair and maintenance activities, including documentation and audit tracking.
  • Conducting periodic inspections and audits of light-duty (LD) and heavy-duty (HD) vehicles, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Ensuring DOT compliance and maintaining accurate audit documentation.
  • Driving HSE compliance across the South Texas district, including adherence to stop work authority and safety procedures.
  • Managing facility compliance activities such as Intelex reporting and stormwater runoff monitoring.
  • Providing operational coverage, including vacation relief for drivers and warehouse staff.
