About The Position

Responsible for Centers maintenance and repairs in coordination with outside contractors and under the supervision of the Building Supervisor. Is responsible for assigned equipment and supplies. Is responsible for driving company vans/buses for transporting elderly dementia residents to and from appointments. Also responsible for driving vans/buses to ensure maintenance is up to date.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver's License minimum class C.
• Clean driving records for the past three years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a health care facility.
• General knowledge of safety, SDS, infectious waste rules, and infection control.
• Willingness to learn basic maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to recognize when to refer a more complex problem to appropriate resources.

Responsibilities

• Transport elderly dementia residents to and from appointments using company vans/buses.
• Ensure company vans/buses are up to date with maintenance.
