About The Position

National Retail Transportation is seeking a skilled and reliable Local Truck Driver to join our team in NORTH BERGEN, NJ. This job will consist of local deliveries. Drivers must be comfortable with city driving. Freight is a combination of pallet deliveries with some drop and hook. Local Class A CDL Driver Home Time: Home Daily Pay: $27 per Hour Weekly Average: $1,000 to $1,200 Schedule : Monday to Friday Shift: 9am to 6pm Service Area: Local deliveries, NYC

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
Current DOT physical certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

Responsibilities

Perform local deliveries, including city driving.
Handle freight consisting of pallet deliveries and some drop and hook.
Maintain a safety-focused driving history.
