About The Position
National Retail Transportation is seeking a skilled and reliable Local Truck Driver to join our team in PHILIDELPHIA, PA. This job will consist of local deliveries. Freight is a combination of pallet deliveries with some drop and hook. This position offers home daily, with a schedule of Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. We provide weekly pay, consistent income, paid orientation, and safety training.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
- Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
- Current DOT physical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform local deliveries.
- Handle freight that is a combination of pallet deliveries with some drop and hook.
