Requirements

Class A CDL Required
Minimum of 2 yrs. of Verified experience within the past 4 yrs.
Minimum 1yr Medical Certificate - Minimum ICC requirements related to physical qualifications as set forth under Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 391.41, Physical Qualifications of Drivers.
No positive drug or alcohol test result in the past five (5) yrs.
No accident involving bodily injury within the last three (3) yrs.
No DUI/DWI, Reckless Driving or Speeding Tickets 12mph or higher in the past (5) yrs.

3+ Preferred years of experience.

Responsibilities

Drives semi-tractor/trailers for up to 11 hours after 10 hours off-duty on runs of up to one week or more.
P&D locally
Backs trailers to customer dock.
Maintains compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and safe and professional driving behavior.
Communicates with customer representatives in pleasant, respectful, and efficient manner.
Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
Complies with all DOT requirements including drug and alcohol testing (subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing).
Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
Ensure that any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
Applies tire chains in inclement weather when required.
Swings and secures trailer doors.
Performs other duties as required.
