Join Pitney Bowes as a CDL A Truck Driver IV open schedule in Charlotte, North Carolina! Your hourly Pay: $25.00, paid weekly with an opportunity for overtime.
Requirements
- Must have current work experience at Pitney Bowes as a CDL A Truck Driver IV for Presort Services.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a valid Class A License and meet applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
- Have a minimum of six months of verifiable driving experience and at least 50,000 miles in the last five years driving a tractor-trailer (semi) truck with a safe driving record.
- Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., walking, standing, stooping, and bending with or without accommodations.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, which may include weekends, holidays, and/or different shifts with little or no advance notice.
- Basic understanding of English to comprehend and follow safety and operational directions communicated in English.
Responsibilities
- Keep a detailed driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops, and cargo, or utilize the ELD system.
- Maintain pickup and delivery schedules, meeting deadlines using software tools.
- Ensure your vehicle and work area are clean and well-maintained.
- Understand and follow all safety and security precautions and company policies.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Utilize all required cell phone applications effectively.
- Demonstrate and adhere to safety and security precautions and company policies.
