Generate Sustained Profitability The Parts Mover is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of parts and materials between company-owned facilities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operations by maintaining the steady flow of components and supplies necessary for production. Driving is limited to local travel between nearby plants or warehouses within the same organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving light to medium-duty company vehicles.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly during shift and perform physically active work.
  • Familiarity with basic shipping/receiving processes a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Forklift certification (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles (box truck, van, pickup, etc.) to transport parts and materials between plant locations.
  • Load and unload parts using proper equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, or manually as needed).
  • Verify part counts and documentation before departure and upon arrival.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
  • Communicate with plant personnel to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Inspect vehicle before and after use and report any mechanical issues.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, or staging of parts when not on delivery.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Support inventory control and general warehouse tasks as assigned.
