About The Position
Driver/In-Shop Team Members at Jimmy John’s are versatile individuals who handle both delivery and in-shop tasks. On the road, they are responsible for delivering sandwiches quickly, freshly, and with a friendly attitude, while also mastering efficient routes, ensuring order accuracy, and adhering to safety and legal regulations. Drivers receive cash daily and have the potential to earn up to $20 per hour, which comprises their hourly wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement. In the shop, team members contribute to sandwich preparation, welcome customers warmly, maintain cleanliness, and bring positive energy to the team. This role is ideal for those who enjoy variety, staying active, and being part of a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old for driving
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and clean driving record
- Commitment to safe driving and excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Deliver late night orders quickly, safely, and with awesome customer service
- Prepare and serve high-quality sandwiches with speed and accuracy
- Greet customers and keep the shop clean and organized
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety standards
- Assist with closing procedures at the end of the shift
