About The Position

The Delivery Route Driver is responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of freight to business and residential customers. Deliveries may range from standard curbside service to white glove service, including basic installation and setup when required. The role requires professional customer interactions, safe freight handling, accurate documentation, and communication with dispatch while following company, DOT, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport freight as required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with dispatch and operations teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with white glove delivery and installation services.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery interactions.
• Handle service levels including curbside, inside delivery, white glove, and light installation services.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and proof-of-delivery records.
• Communicate with dispatch about route updates, delays, customer concerns, and service requirements.
• Load, secure, and transport freight safely to prevent damage.
• Follow DOT, company safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company professionally through appearance, communication, and customer interactions.
