About The Position

The Driver I, CDL role is responsible for safely transporting modular buildings and storage containers using heavy commercial equipment. The role does not include setting or anchoring units, but involves on-site customer coordination, installation of Value-Added Products (VAPS), and deliveries to varied and often challenging locations. It requires strong site-assessment skills, independent decision-making, and a commitment to safety and service excellence. The position is local with daily home time. Overtime is available, newer well-maintained equipment is provided, and eligible drivers may earn a $500 monthly bonus for meeting specific safety and performance criteria beginning in the fourth month of driving. Drivers operate commercial vehicles weighing 26,000 pounds or more to deliver, relocate, and retrieve modular buildings and storage units. They inspect vehicles, secure and monitor loads, assess delivery sites, coordinate with dispatch, position units as directed within delivery constraints, and communicate with customers. They may install and recommend VAPS such as ramps, steps, or locks. Drivers must follow company safety policies and applicable DOT or TC requirements, participate in safety and development programs, and log delivery status using digital tools or logbooks.
