About The Position

The Driver Hostler position is responsible for moving and preparing transportation equipment throughout the yard. This includes driving equipment to and from the service area, to the warehouse loading dock, and parking equipment in designated areas. The role also involves connecting equipment using proper techniques and performing duties in accordance with the Company’s safety standards. The Driver Hostler represents Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude and adhering to the dress code. They are also responsible for reporting issues to their supervisor/manager, and additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• High School Education/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Move and prepare transportation equipment throughout the yard.
• Drive equipment to and from the service area.
• Drive equipment to the warehouse loading dock.
• Park equipment in the designated parking areas.
• Connect equipment using proper techniques.
• Perform duties by following the Company’s safety standards.
• Represent Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude and dress code.
• Report issues to supervisor/manager.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.
