Driver Hostler DOT
About The Position
The Driver Hostler DOT position is responsible for moving and preparing transportation equipment throughout the yard. Drive equipment to and from the service area. Drive equipment to the warehouse loading dock. Park equipment in the designated parking areas. Connect equipment using proper techniques. Driver will be required to operate a commercial vehicle on public roadways. Perform duties by following the Company’s safety standards. Represent Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude and dress code. Report issues to supervisor/manager. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor/manager. Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid class A CDL.
- High School Education/GED required.
