About The Position

This position is for a Driver responsible for delivering home-delivered meals. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of experience as a delivery driver, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation is preferred. Prior experience working with older adults is also a plus. The driver must be able to read street maps and use electronic navigation systems, possess proficient English communication skills (bi/trilingual is a bonus), and hold a valid "class C" California Driver’s License with a good driving record. The job involves repetitive tasks including bending, twisting, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience in a public or private agency as a delivery driver.
• Ability to read and understand street maps and use electronic navigation systems.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must have a valid “class C” California Driver’s License.
• Must maintain driving record in good standing.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bend, twist, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
