Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to work 8+ hour shifts, typically Monday – Friday. At times weekends and holidays will required
- Comfortable working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
- Use safe lifting and loading techniques
- Great interpersonal/customer service skills
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
Nice To Haves
- Hand cart delivery experience preferred
- Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
Responsibilities
- Lift up to 80 lbs. on consistent basis.
- Load and unload Truck for multi-stop deliveries.
- Use hand truck and load bar.
- Accurately record delivery information including operating a hand scanner and all company required documentation.
- Responsible for the proper documentation and disposition for any return product.
- Unload product safely and stage product in the space(s) designated by customer.
- Check invoice for complete delivery.
- Process paperwork and damaged merchandise if any.
- Monitor refrigeration system on van on a consistent basis for safety; follow all safe food handling procedures
