About The Position
Harman Brothers Ice LLC is seeking a Driver Helper to assist with loading and unloading trucks, delivering ice to customer locations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires physical stamina and excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
- Must have physical stamina to repeatedly lift 16 lb. bags of ice while bending for up to 12 hours daily.
- Must have physical stamina to lift and carry 50 lbs. up to 12 hours daily.
- Must have excellent customer service skills for interactions on the delivery route.
- Must be punctual with a strong attendance record.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading the truck using a pallet jack.
- Riding in the Route Truck with the driver to customer locations to deliver bags of ice.
- Assisting the driver at delivery stops by tossing ice from the back of an ice truck to the driver.
- Keeping the trash and inside of the truck clean in between stops.
- Assisting the driver in backing up at ice merchandisers.
