About The Position
This position requires individuals to be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to take direction and work well as part of a team. Applicants must be able and willing to follow all company policies and procedures and be flexible with scheduling. This position is approximately 40 hours/ week (10-hour shifts +OT). We are seeking applicants interested in upgrading to a Class 1 Driver's License.
Requirements
- Schedule: 4AM - Early Afternoon
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized with good communication skills
- Ability to set goals and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Nice To Haves
- Interested in upgrading to a Class 1 Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Travel with driver on delivery routes
- Assist driver with the offloading product
- Perform the delivery function with excellent customer service in mind
- Comply with all safety rules and procedures and Ministry of Transportation laws
- Assist transportation team members, complete tasks and meet customer service requirements
- Must maintain excellent punctuality and attendance record
- Use proper lifting techniques
- Other duties may be assigned
