About The Position
Kenney Industries, Inc. is a growing manufacturing company specializing in CNC Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, and Assembly. With over 50 CNC machines in a 55,000 sq ft facility, we deliver high-quality precision components and assemblies for a wide range of industries. We're looking for a skilled and proactive Driver/Helper to join our team. This role works alongside our shipping manager and lead maintenance manager to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and safe handling of materials.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Open minded to work on other things to stay busy
- Active and current Driver's License
- No accidents on record
- Clean background & drug screening
- Must be able to work fulltime schedule: Mon-Thur 6am-3:330pm Fri 6am-11am
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials safely
- Help secure cargo to prevent damage during transport
- Deliver/Pickup products to designated locations following company procedures
- Verify delivery items against documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Communicate effectively with drivers and warehouse staff
- Help in the warehouse with orders, mechanic work, cleaning, and other odd and end tasks.
