The Driver Helper assists the delivery driver in unloading, checking the quality, and delivering products to customer locations. Requirements

• High School or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Handcart and electric pallet jack experience.
• Proven ability to communicate articulately.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• Knowledge of the product delivery schedule.
• Ability to determine if the product meets quality and rotation standards.
• Must be able to work in a cold warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot weather, rain, and extremely cold temperatures).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the product delivery schedule.
• Knowledge of whether the product meets quality and rotation standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload and check the quality of products at a customer location.
• Rotate and check the quality of produce.
• Drive to different locations to assist the driver with deliveries.
• Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Handle company equipment properly.
• Follow written driver safety rules.
• Perform a pre-trip inspection.
