Driver/ Fabricator
About The Position
LeafGuard is hiring full-time drivers to drive company trucks and help ensure customers receive a high level of service. The role involves delivering materials and machinery to job sites, checking that measurements submitted by sales representatives are accurate, operating a gutter roll-forming machine, and supporting warehouse organization and installation preparation. Candidates with warehouse or light-construction experience may use this role to build their experience. This is the first step toward becoming a LeafGuard driver/fabricator. The position offers weekly pay at a competitive hourly rate of $20.00–$30.00, paid on-the-job training, and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid maternity leave and parent-bonding leave for eligible roles, and a 401(k).
Requirements
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Obtain a pre-employment medical card.
- Be able to use a tape measure.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Basic warehouse experience.
- Experience with light industrial machinery.
- Light-construction experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company truck to assigned job sites.
- Keep company vehicles clean and organized, including maintaining and upkeeping the inside of the truck.
- Operate the gutter roll-forming machine.
- Measure and verify the house against the diagram for gutter delivery.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Organize materials needed for upcoming installation jobs.
