About The Position

Responsible for accurate and safe delivery and set-up, and removal of patient care equipment in the home. Providing accurate and complete information to caregivers of equipment utilization. Maintain current patient equipment logs. Responsible for assisting in pulling disposable supply orders. Performs routine maintenance as needed to operating systems of facility, such as heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical systems and machinery (when a licensed professional is not required). Operates machinery needed for such purposes.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Current Arkansas Driver's License.
  • Satisfactory results from motor vehicle records check.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate a truck.
  • Good hearing, vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Satisfactory results from criminal history check and periodic random drug tests.
  • Ability to read and speak English well enough to read road signs, prepare reports, and communicate with the public.
  • Knowledge of patient care equipment functions including routine maintenance.
  • Requires manual dexterity and problem-solving ability.
  • Must get along well with people, speak well and have self-confidence, initiative, tact, and a neat appearance.
  • A responsible, self-motivated individual able to work well with little or no direct supervision.
  • Maintains current satisfactory TB skin test.
  • Ability to cope with human suffering, emergencies and other stresses.
  • A team player and a person of unquestionable personal and professional ethics.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Office and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years prior experience driving trucks is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Certification as a DME Technician preferred.
