About The Position

The Driver & Detailer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient transportation and impeccable presentation of retail vehicles. This position involves safely operating company vehicles to transport goods or customers while maintaining strict adherence to traffic laws and company policies. Additionally, the role requires meticulous attention to detail in cleaning, maintaining, and preparing vehicles to meet high standards of appearance and functionality. The successful candidate will contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering vehicles that are both clean and mechanically sound. Ultimately, this role supports the retail trade operations by combining driving expertise with vehicle care to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, M1 strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly in various traffic and weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail is essential for performing high-quality cleaning and inspections, which directly impact the presentation and longevity of the vehicles.
• Communication skills facilitate effective coordination with team members and customers, ensuring smooth logistics and service delivery.
• Time management skills help balance driving schedules with detailing duties to meet operational demands efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, products, or customers to designated locations within scheduled time frames.
• Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Ensure all vehicles are fueled, stocked with necessary supplies, and ready for use at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and cleaning activities in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with retail staff to coordinate vehicle availability and support customer delivery or pickup services.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols to minimize risks during driving and detailing tasks.
