About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Operation Manager within established Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures, drives assigned vehicle for scheduled and unscheduled pickups and deliveries of various medical and non-medical supplies, equipment and materials. Also, performs various clerical and materials handling duties.
Requirements
- Good driving skills
- Clerical accuracy
- Able to organize sizable workload
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Command of verbal and written English
- Positive interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Current Massachusetts or Rhode Island driver’s license required
- Clean driving record
- Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Previous storeroom and general clerical experience desirable but not required
