We are currently recruiting for a full-time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate in Sacramento, CA. Our Drivers are a critical piece to our logistics services, and are responsible for delivering electrical materials to various customer jobsites and facilities, which includes creating a daily delivery route based on orders received, verifying material on the truck before delivery and working with the dispatch manager for any changes in the route. Ideal candidates will possess attention to detail, communication skills and provide a positive and professional attitude to all customer, vendors, and employees. Additional duties include operating a forklift, assisting in the warehouse upon completing the delivery route.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience driving 26 foot trucks.
Forklift Certified
Valid CA DMV license with clean DMV record in accordance with company insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Check orders for delivery.
Drive assigned route.
Delivery of material to job sites or facility.
Communication with dispatch manager throughout driving the routes.
Unload any RGA’s or will calls from the route.
Utilize an iPad to monitor track and verify customer orders.
Communicate with customers via work cell phone.
Verify material for the second route of the day.
Responsible for cleaning the yard, stocking pipe and cleaning the trucks.
Drives forklift to move or get material from high areas in the warehouse.
Down stocking: replenishing stock using RF gun to move material from inventory to primary location for order fillers.
Stocking material from receiving department.
Receiving: unload material from delivery trucks, count material and refer to the bill of lading for correct quantity. Use RF gun to scan material into inventory, date stamp, initial and file order for management’s review.
Drives forklift to unload material from delivery trucks. Also, stock and loading of pallet racking.
Daily uses RF gun to check for material from prior day that needs to be put back into inventory.
Daily cleans up warehouse by sweeping, picking up and empty trash.
