About The Position

Wismettac is looking for a professional, safety-minded CDL Driver to be the face of our company. You aren’t just moving freight; you’re building relationships and ensuring our high-quality products reach our customers safely and on time. This role involves occasional interstate and out-of-state deliveries, a blend of driving and physical activity, and the opportunity to master FSMA food safety standards and logistics technology. You will operate heavy-duty delivery trucks (avg 26,000 lbs), managing established routes and providing top-tier service to our clients.

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a solid driving record.
• Ability to handle strenuous physical work, including lifting, pulling, pushing 50+ lbs and maneuvering in/out of the cab.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and a "safety-first" attitude.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends to beat the traffic and meet customer needs.
• Comfortable using tablets for E-logs and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Navigate routes safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Deliver products, and maintain positive client relationships.
• Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (E-logs).
• Load and unload merchandise (up to 50 lbs) and assist in warehouse operation when needed.
