About The Position

Wismettac is looking for a professional, safety-minded CDL Driver to be the face of our company. You aren’t just moving freight; you’re building relationships and ensuring our high-quality products reach our customers safely and on time. This role involves operating heavy-duty delivery trucks (avg 26,000 lbs), managing established routes, and providing top-tier service to our clients. The position offers a blend of driving and physical activity, with opportunities for professional growth in food safety standards and logistics technology. Occasional interstate and out-of-state deliveries are part of the role, typically lasting 2–4 days.

Requirements

Valid CDL with a solid driving record.
Ability to handle strenuous physical work, including lifting, pulling, pushing 50+ lbs and maneuvering in/out of the cab.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and a "safety-first" attitude.
Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends to beat the traffic and meet customer needs.
Comfortable using tablets for E-logs and reporting.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.

Nice To Haves

Experience with FSMA food safety standards and logistics technology.

Responsibilities

Navigate routes safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
Deliver products and maintain positive client relationships.
Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (E-logs).
Load and unload merchandise (up to 50 lbs) and assist in warehouse operation when needed.
