About The Position

Hartung Glass Industries is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver who likes to be hands-on and safely deliver glass to our customers in a timely manner. This position involves local and cross-border routes to CA, with some early morning start times. The role includes loading, offloading, and delivering glass to various job sites, ensuring safe and efficient handling. It is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Class A CDL license
Maintain an acceptable MVR and current DOT Medical card
Ability to pass a road test and DOT UA test
Experience in safe driving practices and vehicle inspection procedures (Pre & post trip vehicle inspections)
Ability to operate flatbed load/ unload (Forklift/ Moffett)
Knuckle Boom experience
Able to pass DOT regulated drug/alcohol screen
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, carry, load/ unload glass

Responsibilities

Manage backorders or returns.
Maintain thorough vehicle logs, driver logs, and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
Check and secure loads.
Operate flatbed load/unload (Forklift/Moffett).
Operate Knuckle Boom.
Provide stellar customer service and resolve issues as needed.
Maintain great, reliable attendance and work ethic.
