About The Position

This position’s primary role is resolving any driver issues regarding product returned to the warehouse, returning product to proper locations in the warehouse and providing administrative support to the warehouse and delivery departments. This position is responsible for the close-date beer wall.

Requirements

Knowledge of product code numbers and code dates.
Ability to keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
Ability to report safety hazards or suggestions for efficiency.
Proficiency in utilizing the Encompass program.
Ability to check dates on swapped products and categorize them.
Ability to return drivers using the Encompass program.
Ability to record product swap compliance within the 30-day requirement.
Ability to organize the close-date product area.
Ability to produce daily swap recaps and end-of-shift reports.
Ability to maintain a spreadsheet on pushed/returned orders.
Ability to assist in pulling and loading product.
Ability to rotate close-date inventory.
Ability to blind count beer returns, document, obtain driver initials, and submit paperwork to accounting.

Reporting safety hazards or suggestions for warehouse efficiency to the Receiving Coordinator.
Meeting with the Receiving Coordinator daily to discuss issues related to close-date inventory, redistribution, and upcoming issues.
Counting, recording, and producing close-date inventory daily.
Utilizing Encompass to check for close-date product.
Checking dates on swapped products and separating them into close-date, out-of-date, breakers, and fresh inventory.
Returning drivers using the Encompass program.
Recording daily if product is swapped within the 30-day requirement.
Organizing the close-date product area daily.
Recording and producing the daily swap recap and end-of-shift report.
Maintaining a spreadsheet on pushed/returned orders.
Assisting the warehouse in pulling and loading product when job allows.
Rotating close-date inventory daily.
Blind counting any beer coming back to the warehouse, documenting it, having the driver initial the count, and turning in driver's paperwork to the accounting department.
