About The Position

US FOODS® is seeking a Driver Check-In Clerk to join their team. This role is responsible for receiving and verifying driver-returned products and invoices, ensuring accurate accounting codes for the division's Profit and Loss statement. The Driver Check-In Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate account reports and product integrity. This position offers paid training, paid overtime, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
Strong math skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to resolve routine problems of limited scope.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
Occasional lift up to 90 pounds.
Job requires handling cases in low to the ground and high-level slots.
Must be able to operate a computer and perform filing.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with warehouse & delivery procedures preferred.
Some Inventory Control /Finance experience background preferred.
Motorized pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive and verify driver-returned products and invoices, ensuring accurate accounting codes.
Verify returned product for accurate reason codes (mispicks, driver shorts, refusals) to ensure account reports reflect accurate data.
Verify returned product is within temperature guidelines to maintain product integrity.
Return cases back to stock, perform RF scanning and computer work, and issue customer credits.
Compile Xata and Kronos reports to verify accurate time and attendance reporting.
Process driver collections for accuracy in collection of money.
Work in different temperature areas ranging from -10 to 95 degrees.
Work some holidays.
