About The Position

Mondelēz International/Nabisco is hiring a CDL Driver in Indianapolis, Indiana. The driver delivers products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses in Indiana, with a focus on safety and timely deliveries. The position is represented by a labor union.

The possible schedule, subject to change based on customer demand, is five days per week Monday through Saturday, with shifts of 10–12 hours and start times between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM. Work continues until completed, for a total of approximately 40–50 hours per week. The principal location is 8645 E 25th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Requirements

• Have a CDL Class A license and at least two years of proven safe driving experience.
• Have a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID for access to a military base facility.
• Successfully pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check.
• Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Have at least one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions; DOT checks the prior 10 years.
• Be familiar with OSHA and DOT regulations and local, state, and federal requirements.
• Have a basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Be proficient with a smartphone and electronic logging device for logging positions and driving times, and be able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Be flexible and able to adapt to changing routes and work schedules.
• Be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Have a customer-oriented attitude and provide excellent support to key customers.

Nice To Haves

• Direct store delivery (DSD) experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses.
• Comply with procedures and perform regular safety checks on equipment, including the tractor, trailer, and pallet jack.
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch.
