About The Position

Begin a career as part of the transportation team, utilizing your skills and abilities to change the life of a Job Corps student. This role is for a Substitute Driver at the San Diego Job Corps Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year experience as a licensed driver
• General knowledge of vehicle maintenance/repair
• A valid commercial driver license with the passenger endorsement
• An acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicles in a clean and orderly condition.
• Operate vehicles to transport passengers.
• Act as a monitor to ensure positive group relations in off center activities.
• Operate vehicles to transport passengers and/or packages.
• Maintain vehicles for routine service, clean vehicles, and check fluids.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections daily and recommend mechanical repairs as needed.
• Supervise and monitor off-center activities and provide guidance for positive attitude and behavior.
