About The Position

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Driver – CDL Hazmat to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders, welding supplies, and industrial equipment while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid CDL License (Minimum Class C) with Hazardous Materials endorsement required.
Valid DOT Medical Card required.
Must pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
Ability to safely handle compressed gas cylinders and industrial materials.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, handheld scanners, and timekeeping systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret delivery tickets, shipping documents, and instructions.
Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one (1) year of delivery driving or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
Deliver compressed gases, welding equipment, safety supplies, welding wire, and other industrial products to customer locations.
Load and unload compressed gas cylinders and palletized inventory using proper material handling equipment.
Retrieve empty cylinders and accurately document full and empty exchanges.
Utilize handheld scanners and tracking systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
Prepare and maintain delivery receipts, vehicle reports, and customer transaction documentation.
Collect customer payments and obtain signatures for deliveries and pickups.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance checks on company vehicles.
Respond professionally to customer questions, requests, and service concerns.
Promote company products and services when appropriate.
Follow all company, state, and federal safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions immediately.
