About The Position

Savage is looking for a new Team Member to safely and efficiently transfer petroleum coke from the coke pit to a material handling system that will feed the Gasifier Unit inside Coffeyville Resource’s refinery using various types of material handling equipment. Military Veterans and National Guard Reservists are encouraged to apply!

Requirements

Must have a strong commitment to safety.
Understand the importance of customer service.
Be a strong communicator, a solid team player, willing to do any task(s) that require(s) attention.
Willingness to learn new skills is required.
Possess at least a valid Class B CDL, Class A CDL preferred.
Able to read, write and understand English.
MUST have basic math skills.
Follow written and/or verbal instructions.
Pass a written and skills test on the type of equipment that he or she will be operating.
Must be physically able to climb in and out of the equipment, ascend and descend ladders and steps and should not have a fear of heights.
Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Have the ability to use basic hand tools.

Nice To Haves

Some maintenance experience is helpful.
Experience working with front end loaders is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently transfer petroleum coke from the coke pit to a material handling system that will feed the Gasifier Unit.
Operate a 10-wheel dump truck and understand all controls involved in the dump truck operation.
Operate a variety of equipment including excavator, front end loader, and Skid steer.
Help with maintenance, clean-up, and anything else that requires attention, as directed by the Operation Manager or lead operator.
Wear required PPE.
Conduct themselves in a professional manner, willing to comply with Savage’s personal appearance policy.
