About The Position

Southern Textile Service, Inc. is a growing, successful regional family-owned service company in South Hill, VA, serving customers since 1934. We are now seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Transport/Delivery Driver (Class A) to depart from our South Hill facility every evening. This is a dedicated run Monday night through Friday night and only occasional Saturdays. We are a linen rental supply and commercial laundry company providing services to hospitality, first-class lodging, healthcare, and small business customers. Our company is dedicated to resource conservation and social responsibility, helping customers achieve their business goals while reducing their environmental impact.

Requirements

• Pass the required drug test
• Clean driving record required
• Pass the required background checks
• Valid CDL license; Class A required
• Customer service experience
• High level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive working relationship with the primary contact at each location
• Drive trucks requiring an appropriate CDL Class A License
• Ability to load and unload rolling containers onto trucks with approximate weights of 200-600 lbs.
• Handle repetitive lifting
• Be highly productive, independent, professional, dependable, and motivated
