Driver / Cabinet Installer
About The Position
Dutch Home Carpentry provides high-quality kitchen cabinet installation, along with select tile and flooring work for homeowners throughout Lancaster County and the surrounding region. This role offers a 4-day work week with on-the-job training in cabinet installation and carpentry skills, with opportunities for growth into leading installation jobs independently. The position involves traveling to various residential job sites, working hands-on with a supportive team, and representing the company professionally.
Requirements
- Ability to tow a trailer confidently or willingness to learn required.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Works well with others and maintains a positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cabinet installation, finish carpentry, tile, flooring, or similar trades preferred.
- Familiarity with tools, measurements, and residential job site practices a plus.
- Takes pride in precision, clean installs, and high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a GMC 2500 truck with a 16' box trailer to transport cabinetry and materials to residential job sites.
- Travel to job sites throughout the region, typically within 90 minutes and occasionally up to 2 hours away.
- Pick up cabinetry from manufacturers and ensure materials are secured and protected during transport.
- Assist with kitchen cabinet installation and select tile and flooring projects.
- Read layouts and complete accurate, level, and secure installations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site environment.
- Work alongside experienced installers to develop installation skills and learn job flow.
- Represent Dutch Home Carpentry professionally with homeowners and customers on-site.
