About The Position

BAWAC, Inc. is seeking a Production Services Driver/ Shipping & Receiving & Material Handler. Driving trucks, fork trucks, vans, or other vehicles is a required part of this position. This will require maintaining a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is free from accidents, citations and other incidents that may reduce insurability. Ensuring a safe and secure environment is a top priority in this role, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols and proactive risk management to protect all employees. Shipping and Receiving employees are responsible for keeping records of all products shipped and received in a timely and orderly manner. Packing goods in shipping containers, develop mailing labels and shipping documents and ensure that all orders have been filled correctly. This role also involves work supervision, directing supervision and training of workers with disabilities in a light manufacturing work center environment. Additional responsibilities include safety awareness, quality control, production recordkeeping, materials control, and other duties in accordance with regulations, standards, and company practices. Great attention to quality control and all safety practices is essential.

Requirements

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is free from accidents, citations and other incidents that may reduce insurability.
Perform duties effectively in a labor-intensive assembly and light manufacturing environment.
Ability to learn a wide variety of job requirements.
Ability to work well with other professionals to meet consumer goals.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
A strong sense of time organization and urgency.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Successful completion of a DOT (Department of Transportation) medical examination, meeting all physical and health standards as required for the role.
Clean background check, including but not limited to criminal history, motor vehicle records, and any other pre-employment screening as determined by Company policy and regulatory requirements.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to be licensed and certified as needed for areas of responsibility.
