About The Position

Rubidoux Drive-In Theatre is looking for a dependable, hands-on Drive-In Theater Supervisor to join their team. This is a full-time leadership position responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Drive-In, supervising team members, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and helping ensure guests have a safe, enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can confidently lead a team, and is willing to jump in wherever needed—from the ticket booth and snack bar to theater operations and facility cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Is 18 years of age or older
  • Has previous supervisory, leadership, hospitality, entertainment, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience
  • Is comfortable leading employees while also working alongside the team
  • Provides excellent customer service and remains professional when handling difficult situations
  • Is dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Communicates clearly with employees, management, and guests
  • Demonstrates good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Can adapt quickly when business needs or priorities change
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Is available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours based on theater operations

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all areas of the Drive-In are properly prepared and ready to open for business.
  • Assist with unlocking, opening, setup, and closing procedures.
  • Supervise team members and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Help coordinate employee schedules and maintain appropriate staffing coverage.
  • Ensure employees have the tools, supplies, and functioning equipment needed to perform their jobs.
  • Oversee movie scheduling and assist with projector operation and maintenance.
  • Provide leadership and support to employees working in the snack bar, ticket booth, janitorial, and other operational areas.
  • Maintain food and operational supplies throughout the shift and assist with inventory control.
  • Complete and assist with monthly inventory counts and monitor supply needs throughout the month.
  • Communicate effectively with employees using radios and other communication systems.
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints and help resolve issues professionally.
  • Ensure theaters, restrooms, kitchen areas, concession areas, and other guest spaces are maintained to appropriate cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Work alongside team members and perform operational duties when additional support is needed.
  • Help maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
