About The Position

This position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Water Production Facility, which includes treatment, pumping, and storage facilities. The role involves receiving training and then performing progressively increasing responsibilities for monitoring and operating water treatment and supply processes. It also includes identifying and performing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation repairs on various systems to maintain the water treatment plant and remote pump stations. The position requires completing required training and certifications in accordance with tier requirements. This position is part of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) union. The pay grade is either 15 or 17, depending on tier placement, with an hourly rate of $29.79 – $37.67. Tier 1 is not a remote position.
