About The Position

7 Leaves Café is a passionate community dedicated to enriching lives through authentically crafted beverages and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Founded in 2011, it has grown into a thriving chain with over 40 locations across the Southwestern United States. The Drink Cook is responsible for the creation, quality, proper storing and packaging of coffee and tea products. This role is the core of the business, producing all signature beverages by brewing tea and coffee bases, and will work closely with store management and the back of house kitchen to ensure proper production.

Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology/computer systems (i.e. Excel, attendance system, ordering system, etc.).
• Excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage bakery operations independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and walking.
• Eagerness to learn and build on constructive feedback.

Nice To Haves

• Undergo a comprehensive training program located out of state for 8-10 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Develop a familiarity with all 7 Leaves recipes, preparation times, and measurements to produce coffee and teas for stores.
• Adhere strictly to food safety protocols (company and state guidelines) to ensure product safety and quality.
• Regularly inventory and order to ensure adequate supply of ingredients and products are prepared according to company specifications and needs.
• Maintain a calm and professional composure during regular, high volume, or additionally orders requested by their supervisor.
• Communicate and collaborate with upper management and other team members to circumvent any foreseeable or sudden issues.
• Report to work at the prescribed time for each scheduled shift and fulfill job requirements until relieved of duties by a direct supervisor.
• Regularly lift at least 50 lbs throughout the shift and/or assist others in group lifts.
