Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate drilling or heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, quarrying, construction, or similar environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and compliance with operating procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude with the capability to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
- Ability to read and follow mine plans, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Dependable work ethic with the ability to adapt to changing operational needs and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate drilling equipment to support underground quarry production activities.
- Perform drilling operations according to mine plans, production targets, and safety requirements.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment.
- Identify and communicate equipment, ground, or safety concerns to supervisors and team members.
- Collaborate with quarry personnel to support efficient and productive underground operations.
Benefits
- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential.
