The Underground Driller is responsible for the operation of a mobile drilling rig in various remote locations or on active mine sites. The UG Driller serves as the crew supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that safety operations and procedures are followed and that proper documentation is completed as required. The UG Driller is responsible for the training of UG Driller Assistants and may train new UG Drillers as necessary. The UG Driller will also operate and perform maintenance on equipment, manage site inventory, perform UG Driller Assistant duties when necessary, and interact with clients. The schedule for UG Drillers is 20 days on and 10 days off.
