About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Drill Rig Operator for test borings. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in all phases of drill rig operation, including hollow stem auger, rock coring, mud rotary drilling, split spoon, and Shelby tube sampling. A key responsibility will be keeping accurate boring logs and describing soil types using the Burmister and/or unified classification system. Experience operating other heavy equipment is a plus.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of drill rig operation experience
- Experience in all phases of test borings
- Experience in hollow stem auger, rock coring, mud rotary drilling, split spoon, and Shelby tube sampling
- Ability to describe soil types using the Burmister and/or unified classification system
- CDL - A or B
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating other heavy equipment such as Backhoe, Excavator, Skid steer
